Agents in this movie were much faster and brutal than in Reloaded. One of the most epic movies ever with a amazing cast. The first Matrix film was the best, then after that Woopy Oracle trash talk it went downhill, wisdom and bullcrap riddles. Everyone wanted to see a movie that they had no idea what the movie was about. Brilliant. Walking out of this movie, I felt giddy and excited. It was a fun flick with impressive special effects that didn"t seem entirely tacked on.
But the more I thought about it, the more I felt cheated and manipulated. The plot was fairly decent. for the first half of the film. Then it pulls out and lets the special effects take over. I know the purpose of film is to manipulate emotions, but being stroked into thinking a movie is great because it looked pretty is just insulting.
I recommend seeing it at least once, especially on a big screen, but not because it"s the great sci-fi film everyone"s touting it to be- because it"s a good two hours of mindless entertainment with some decent loud music and entrancing special effects.
An amazing trailer it shows you so much without actually showing you anything and it completely steers you away from the mindfuck the movie is.

I like Will Smith but Im glad Reeves did The Matrix. OMFG 1:18 dude : what do you need. Neo : guns. a lot of guns. jus realize this line is same with John Wick lol amazing. I saw it. I liked it. I saw it again. and again.
One of the beset things about this film is the use of its visuals. The effects are not overdone but are executed in a manner that accentuates the mood in an extremely appropriate way.
Plot has a couple of good twists and some of the actors" performances are appropriate for the genre (I wouldn"t say Oscar material though.
Not perfect for me but, oh, so close with 9/10.

I really get the experience of feeling so connected with a production such as this. What a treat it is. Watch matrix online.
